Sundays 11:00 a.m.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of every month; on
Maundy Thursday, and on Christmas Eve.

The Children / Youth lead worship twice a year: in February for the 'Souper
Bowl' celebration / annual congregational birthday celebration and the last
Sunday in August to share what they learned in Vacation Bible School (this is on
Rally Day.)

(closest Sunday to Valentine's Day)
FUN DAY
- (casual dress day, cookout after Worship, on or near Memorial Day).
Church Birthday Ice Cream
Social - a mid-July Sunday.
Friendship Day
- usually the last Sunday in September.
Thanksgiving
- after Worship, the 2nd Sunday of
November. Presbyterian Student (College) Association and the Spartanburg Campus
Pastor lead this Worship and stay with us for the meal.
Joy Gift celebration
- usually the 3rd Sunday in Advent.
The Youth lead the worship portion and then there is congregational fellowship
with a visit from Old St. Nick.
- Sunday School -
Sunday School:
Common Gathering at 10:00 a.m.
Sunday School Classes: 10:15 a.m.
The
'Class of Ruth'
is our adult Sunday School class. The class plans regular fellowship meals
together.
The Church has
Sunday School for Children,
and is divided into Nursery, Pre-School, Grammar School, Jr. High / High School.
Vacation Bible School
(VBS) replaces regular Sunday School
in the summer. The lessons and music are done on Sunday mornings across the
summer with mission and fun activities at other times.
We have both Easter Egg Hunts at
Easter Time and a Halloween celebration for the children / youth in late
October.
- Presbyterian Women -
The Friday Work and Study Circle
and the Alta Margaret Circle
that meets the 2nd Sunday of
the month - both circles meeting from September to May. There is a common
Presbyterian Women's Christmas Party and a Presbyterian Women's 'Birthday
Offering' / Year End Breakfast in May.
- Choir -
Choir Rehearsal
is Wednesday's at 7:00 p.m.,
September to May. In the summer, Choir members gather at 10:45 a.m. on Sundays
to organize for Worship.
- C.A.R. Ministry -
C.A.R. Ministry
meets about every 3 weeks. |
